Kyren Martin, a native of Ferguson, Missouri, is dedicated to transforming urban communities through family advocacy, mental health, and education. He holds a BA in Psychology from MidAmerica Nazarene University, an MA in Education from UMKC, and is pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry in Leadership at Nazarene Theological Seminary, focusing

Kyren currently works in mental health and urban education at UMKC's Institute for Urban Education and serves as the Young Adult Pastor at St. James UMC. Above all, his greatest role is being a father, with a mission to be a resource for others.

Catina K. Taylor is a disrupter in the field of education who strives to restore the hopes and dreams to a generation by reshaping the educational landscape! She works with schools and districts to evolve from tradition and meet the needs of the 21st-century student and their families. A veteran educator turned edprenuer, Catina has coached new educators, piloted a new school model, co-founded an organization that helps retain black female education professionals, and provided support to schools in the turnaround process. She most recently launched DREAMS KC, a nonprofit social enterprise that empowers parents with the tools necessary to teach their children foundational literacy skills.
