Text Message Sign Up

W.E.B. DuBois Learning Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit learning program in Kansas City. Parents and guardians can choose to receive text messages from us.

How you sign up: You answer a Yes or No question on our Student Application Form, on our sign-in form (the QR code posted at our site), or on this page. Nothing is checked ahead of time. You only get texts if you choose Yes. Here is the exact wording:

“We want to make sure our families are informed about our sessions, DLC activities, and other pertinent information. By choosing Yes below, you agree to receive text messages from W.E.B. DuBois Learning Center, such as session reminders, RSVP requests, birthday greetings, missed-session notices and application updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not required to participate.”
